Willowbank Wildlife Reserve

Willowbank  is the perfect place for the whole family for a day’s outing. Join the daily feeding times, or hand feed  the farm animals yourself (animal food can be purchased at reception)  Wander the Reserve seeing lemurs, gibbons, kiwis, wallabies, keas, monkeys – to our favourite farm animals in the farmyard (kune kune pigs, ducklings, llama, donkeys, miniature ponies) – just to name a few. Pack a picnic and have it in the farmyard – or enjoy a snack in the cafe (fully licensed restaurant and bar – with choices for everyone – from a kids menu to a 4 course Taste New Zealand evening dinner! Take a guided tour through Native New Zealand – included in the entrance fee – wild fun for everyone. Another great activity for young and old is the Junior Keeper programme which runs every school holidays, or Lemur Encounters on weekends and school holidays. Great venue for birthday parties and on the holidays the children will love the donkey rides. Annual Passes are also available – unlimited entry for a full year for only $99.00 for 2 adults and up to 3 children.
