Wai ariki Farm Park

November 23, 2009

For family fun head to Wai ariki Farm Park.

You can hand-feed a diverse range of animals, including deer, Highland cattle, goats, emus, sheep, donkeys, horses, Tibetan yak, alpacas and llamas, rabbits, ducks, chooks and more.
Set on two acres of park, with fantastic mountain views, the animals are displayed in a well-maintained, tranquil and clean environment.

The park offers entertaining farm shows, the cafe offers a range of teas, organic coffee, and delicious food, and the craft gallery has funky fabric, patterns, original local art and New Zealand made indie crafts.

Wai ariki, 108 Rippingale Road, Hanmer Springs, within walking distance from the thermal pools via the Crawford Walkway. Open 10am – 5pm, Tuesday to Saturday, and open seven days during school/public holidays.
