Original Scripts – for a better education

For those with a passion for acting and theatre, Original Scripts Theatre School is a must-try.

One of the most successful theatre schools in New Zealand, it has been operating for 25 years, incorporating original scripts written by co-founder and owner, Wendy Steeds.

The slogan, “Committed to excellence in the performing arts’, encapsulates Original Scripts’ philosophy.

All students appear on stage in front of a paying audience at least twice a year. This is possible because Original Scripts provides a safe and friendly environment where students can train and develop their theatre skills to the level required for public performance.

Original Scripts offers junior, intermediate, teenage and adult classes, a total of 15 classes and times. Among the skills taught are acting, vocal skills, movement, audition technique, choreography, performance dance, commitment and self-discipline.
